The Muller vent cover works well http://www.allstores.com.au/?Nav=Pdt&pr ... eID=8&wp=8 shows basically what they look like, great for feeding the cabling from the solar panels through the roof as well.
The Hodges turbine vent work well too http://www.allstores.com.au/?Nav=Pdt&pr ... eID=8&wp=8, you need to get ones with sealed bearing though, they make a lot of noise when the bearings fail.

No cruise control, next best thing, I have "navigation control", sometimes just known as "Control", and she needed to go

Yep, I think that may work well

Terry just got in in front of me, I like the Muller vent

Yes so do I. Wonder if its big enough to cover the solar extractor. Would have to cut a hole in the top to allow the solar panel to work.

You could make a similar thing out of the solar extractor fan just fixing a piece of stainless sheet around the forward half of the vent, this would create a low pressure area behind the vent and assist in extracting air from the vent pipe. you would need a fresh air inlet to the tanks as well, otherwise the water in the "S" bend would be sucked out. The Hepwrth reedvalve traps in the sink and shower drain pipes work well with this, they save a lot of wasted cupboard space as well

Going to use one of those inverted 1" "U" tubes with the vent in the top for the toilet, this pipe will then be hooked up to the tank breather then into the solar vent. I made up a fibreglass top hat sort of arrangement for the solar vent to sit into. A 1" skin fitting in the bottom of it to fit the breather to. The other breather pipes will T off from this. Going to use your TMC toilet modification idea as my toilet site directly over the fuel tank and I want to drop the mascerator down so I can access it without pulling the dunny out. Figure if it blocks or seizes up I can turn it over with a battery drill or remove it easily.

this is old news but, what was the outcome, what are the recommendations for vent and charcoal filters?

Cheers

Dunno why all the fuss about this, we have a pipe leading to the roof rear from both black and grey and that seems sufficient for VP. Fan in the line as well but don't bother turning it on.
