Welcome to the forum. I reckon David is just looking for an easy method of getting a polished bulbar, not something that will require him to provide the sweat and elbow grease ;) The best method to polish with minimum effort is to use a credit card and pay someone else to do the job. When do the Scouts have their next Bob a Job campaign? 8-)

Well that is sort of correct, but I only asked the question after a few hours of using nearly half a tube of Autosol and a heap of elbow grease.
What I should have done was given it a once over every weekend from when we brought it home.

Do the Scouts still do Bob a Job, I'd be willing to pay at least $20 to make it as shiny as it was.
Cheers

I give our alloy bar an annual polish using cutting polish and an electric polisher.
Otherwise, if it collects too many bugs, it’s Spray ‘n’ Wipe followed by a scrub with Sunlight soap in an onion bag, (you know, the plastic mesh thing) wiped down with an old towel. Same routine works a treat on the fibreglass nose panels.
Does me.
IF I decide to sell Girt, I’ll pay someone to detail the whole body, bullbar included.
Regards & God bless,
Ray
