Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I’m a bit confused how the fridge caught fire when running on gas but I guess the investigators will work it out. Will be interested to hear their conclusions. Hope your insurance company comes to the party.
Now there's an idea I hadn't thought of, chucking a party and inviting the insurance people, then cornering them to pay up after both you and they have had a few drinks

Good morning.
We had a massive storm last night...I haven't been outside yet to see what maybe in a different location than before ⚡🤔.
There was a fire 🔥 started on top of Mt Walsh pretty spectacular.. hopefully the rain has put it out...we had 8 mm... but mostly horizontal with the wind..
Still overcast here... maybe more rain..we hope ..
I moved the car trailer out of the shade shed and put the Ute in... they were predicting hail... but got none..
Nothing planned for today...I almost forgot... temperature got to 41 here yesterday.
A picture of Mt Walsh..
Keep safe.

Tank full Bernie? We had a massive thunder & lightening show up here too last night lasted over an hour. Very little wind but looks like we had plenty of rain with it.
RUOK Terry & Margaret? I've been thinking of youse & your predicament.

Good morning everyone. We got up to 37⁰ yesty. Today it's maybe 20⁰ and been raining for a couple of hours. No big storm here, this time. When only got the dregs of what you had, Bernie.
No plan for today yet. We are just waiting to hear from the insurance people. Not holding my breath.
We did 8 loads of washing yesty, sheets, towels, clothing. Only got doonas to go now. The inside of the Winny still stinks, we've had 2 big fans running since the fireys left.
Have the best day possible everybody, get well all the sickies.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Battling on, we are heading off for another house open hr this afternoon, after Margaret has a scan at yet another hospital in Adelaide ..... not sure what this one is for, not the foot, might be to do with ulcerative colitis findings ..... These stress on stress on stress events can't be helping that much at all ......

Bruce, was that your first experience with a tropical rain storm? It might get a bit worse than that, through storm season. But I hope not. Cyclones aren't much fun, for anybody.
But I would suggest to any and all up this way, make sure your generator is good to go, and you have a reasonable amount of backup fuel available.
We had a tornado come through here on Christmas Day 2023.
We finished up with no power for 7 days. Some places were out for a month.
As a side note, we have had 88mm of rain so far today, and it's still raining.
Cheers
