Hi all,
After travelling the super scenic Great Ocean Road, I'm now at the Mt. Schank camp. Mt. Schank is a volcano crater near Mt. Gambier and the climb up to its rim is certainly a heart-starter but well worth the effort. From here to Mt. Gambier, then on to the Flinders Ranges, working out the trip as I go.
Safe travels all,
Mt. Schank, SA

Not for this ol dawg. lol The view... Anybody know what the acronym "CPS" at bottom in the centre of the main crater means?Loki wrote:....the climb up to its rim is certainly a heart-starter but well worth the effort.
PS did you know there are two craters side by side at this location with the larger more recent almost covering up the older smaller one?

It is hot indeed Dot! I'm handling it by not doing much, a shady spot, a good book....
I'm fully retired, traveling around Oz for the year. I'm planning as I go, so while the Flinders Range is a destination, getting there could be interesting, as I may swing down the Yorke Peninsula along the way. I'm set up for free camping but need to have a shower every so often and if the sun doesn't shine for a few days I need to charge my batteries.
A query: How can I get an avatar up? It keeps telling me the file is too big.

You can send it to me Loki if you like so I can resize it or you can use a program like Irfanview (www.irfanview.com).
