Russell, Is that on your M/Home? I thought you had a multi axled box with lots of overhang?

Yes it is on my MH, its a real tail dragger, I saw one of these and had to have one. :-)

This is a great idea I saw somewhere else too, can't remember where though? How did you determine the height from the ground to mount the wheel so it didn't become a further restriction to your departure angle?
Going over steep service station entry/exit ramps often gets Mazda's bum scraping and big bus has skid plates that I'd like to incorporate this idea into as well, is there an easy formulae for height calculations?

Airbags T1...... airbags'll fix it.
I'm not going to do it but I've considered a 12V compressor with a control valve at the drivers station.
10psi for normal & 25psi for ferries & unfriendly service stations.
