I recently camped at a Conservation Park about 11km South of Keith off the road between Keith and Naracoorte.
The so called mountain is actually a granite 'upwelling' in an otherwise flat limestone countryside.
It is probably about 60-70 metres high & covered in scrub.
Way back in the 1950's a couple of companies mined the granite & crushed it to various sizes. (bitumen roads, railway ballast, plaques, statues & monuments etc)
There has been an good effort to create an access track up to and back down from an area that can best be described as a picnic spot. parking areas, picnic tables & a few info boards explaining the history of the area.
There is a walking trail up to the very top where there is a Trig point and another to various areas for lookout etc. Paradise for nature lovers & bird watchers.
The track is a oneway up and another oneway down. The track is narrow but I never brushed anything in a Civilian with Solar on top. Might be a little tight for a big ex-pioneer bus etc.
The camping area at the (near) top is not very level & I tried several places but still had to use my plastic ramps. On the way down, almost to the exit is a huge level parking area that they used to stockpile the crushed granite.
I personally suggest if any huge bus wants to camp there to go partway up the outlet side to access this area.
I'll post a few photos.
Wendy commented on how suitable it would be for a group gathering but camp fires are banned. Maybe they are OK down near the bottom? Will investigate further.
