Roller shutter motors

Post by Dot »

Has anyone got any ides what motors they use for the roller shutters? 2 of ours (in different rooms) are being temperamental i.e they will go up or down one time then not the next and so it goes. G took the cover off but could not see any serviceable parts nor see anything obviously wrong. :? :?

The ones in the Ford's front electric windows turned out to be switch problem, but the cables were sad anyway so I replaced both mechanisms. It does sound more like a switch problem.
