Hello to all on the Forum---I am now at MARYBOROUGH Qld visiting one of my Sisters and her family. I only arrived yesterday and the weather is nice. There is a lot of road work being done on the Bruce Hiway but all-in-all it, was a pleasent drive down from Rockhampton.
The thing now is to decide if I continue to Brisbane, or head towards Cairns. Doon wants to go towards Cairns and she is in no hurry to return to Perth WA, so there is a strong reason to head up that way with her. "Russell" gets on well with Doons Poodle so I have to consider him and his holiday in the "box-on-wheels", so it looks like Cairns will win.
Wait for the pension, fill the tank [$1.57 / litre at Maryborough] re-stock the food supply, eat ice-cream, Look at the Forum, and hit the road again
I have met a few more Forum Members along the way and I have enjoyed a few nights at free camp stops. There are a lot of caravans and m/homes on the road up this way, all looking for sunshine. The heater is doing its job and I run it for a bit in the morning to warm the Sprinter

"tanks" here Dot --not warm enough down that way so I am heading to Cairns after my visit with my Sister in Maryborough.
