Tully Showgrounds.

Post by ozfueler »

Dump point is on the northern side of Butler Street just outside of the Tully Showgrounds opposite the Meals on Wheels building. Fairly easy access, a bit more difficult for a rig over 10 metres but it can be accomplished.

Nice to hear your detour was uneventful ;) would hate you to have hit the bollards there.

Easy if you do a drive thru (the show grounds that is) and come out that gate in the pic, if your 9 plus meters.
Thats what I did cause I had a trailer behind.

Tully council are trialling a free camp for fully self contained vehicles. You must go to the Information centre on the Bruce Highway to get a 44 hour permit. The ranger checks the area on a regular basis to be sure vehicles are self contained and have their permit displayed.

Dot, you know I have nightmares about bollards, so I say bollocks to them all!!!
