Mebourne dwellers needed

Post by Busman »

Need some help from any formites living in Melbourne area
We commisioned a firm in Bayswater to make some longer wheels studs for alloys
Had to pay up front, in the end get Vic Consumer Affairs onto them, they are doing full refund, but being hard to get on with for our samples, Wont send them back, insist we get them picked up.
Anyone ever goes near this area that could pick them up and drop in a post bag (we pay for post of course) would earn lots of brownie points and free parkng when passing through our area.

Anyone able to help ?
Cheers
William

I know the full story here with this one from Bill being part of it. This is typical of a lot of Aussie companies these days being just plain being bastards to deal with and not fulfilling their part of the deal. They then wonder why you buy overseas and then have the hide to criticize for not buying Aussie and at times with an over inflated price. I get pissed when they come at this sort of act just another petty bit of crap and being total bastards and rip off merchants. My biggest peeve generally is with ebay, mostly good dealings with the larger companies, as a rule but not always. Whenever I have had a problem on ebay its always been with an Aussie dealer/seller. Not once in all the years I have used ebay have I had a problem with overseas. BUT here in Aust. different story altogether. WHY.... because we seem to be into this, "who gives a shit" mentality. We have lost something in this country, sadly.
