Been watching the ABC News 24 coverage of the fires in NSW...
Latest estimate is that more than 100 homes have been destroyed!
Are there any forum members whose m/h or caravan will not be used between now and Christmas, who would be willing to lend their unit as temporary accommodation for these poor people?
Would it be possible for someone from the forum who is based in NSW (closer to the action than I am) to co-ordinate this? Possibly through Blaze Aid?
Unfortunately we'll be using Girt during the house changeover, but I'm sure there are members here who do not plan to use their unit until Christmas... and I hope proper accommodation could be sorted by then...
