Well as some of you already know we had a leaky problem with our 20 months old van on our last trip, we had two very wet rainy days and the van sprung leaks in about 6 different places all around the 4 season hatch or close to it, not nice being dripped on in your bed,

so " NOT HAPPY JAN " as we had no warranty as Regent went bust just 3 months after we took delivery and we had a factory warranty, but in all fairness the dealership we went though picked up the bill on a couple of small issues we had in the first 12 months. But we felt that these leaks are just not good enough so what to do, well contacted the dealer to voice our disappointment, was given the go ahead to get a quote locally and they would see what they could do, yesterday we got word that they would pay to have the 4 season hatch removed and reinstalled and the other areas would be at our expense , the repair shop said that all the silicone on the roof of van was lifting away (we have been to have a look at this)

and in his opinion it was never prepared correctly at build so he is now replacing all this, do we have a case to chase more payment from the dealership or do we just cop it and be happy with what they are paying for ?? it is likely to cost us a couple of thousand dollars
Cheers Ros.
