Photo Books

Post by Ros20549 »

Hi Guys I am wanting to make my very first photo book on line, has anyone made one? are they hard to do? and which is the best company to use . Any help would be great thanks. I am looking for something to do in a couple of weeks as I will be one handed for up to 2 weeks and think this may keep me out of mischief.

Cheers Ros.

Hi Dot is a book you can make yourself using your own photo's sort of like a nice picture book for the coffee table. Can get them done at Hardly Normans, Big W etc. and on line thought, I would like to do one on line while I am one handed.

Cheers Ros.

Hi Ros.
I have made several with 123cheese and found them to be a slow process, but the finished product is amazing.
I have used a couple of other companies, but the 123cheese mob's program seems to allow a lot more personalisation of things like font sizes etc. Other people may have had different experiences with different companies. Hope you enjoy the process, it is a bit daunting on the first book, but you will get the hang of it. Best advice is that regardless of which company you use, do a save after every page is finished...beats a lot of frustrating moments if you have a hiccough of any kind.

Darling Dot, these are books that you make using a company's software and pay them to print out the finished book. It is a very professional way to keep your pics in an album that doesn't need you to get out your tv or computer to share stories of your travels. xxx
Can be like scrapbooking, but can also be in a style just like an album that you would suit your style.

Hi Dot,
Son and Heir had one done of Granddaughter's First Year...
'Coffee-Table' quality & format. Some amazing edge-to-edge full-page pix.
Good quality paper & perfect-binding... although only time will tell on longevity of binding.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Just remembered Photo deals was the other company that I have used. Not as easy to manoeuvre in the software, but the finished product was still pretty good. I would still choose to use 123cheese as my first pick for ease of use of software. ;)
