I would think it is bad publicity from the caravan park lobby.
I just wish the individual towns placed a RV unfriendly sign at the entrance to their town and then we would know when to pass through.
I place a red ring around them in my camps book and then in my recommended file in GPS they get a warning so when getting with in a kilometer of the town centre I get a warning to tell me the town is RV unfriendly, but when looking at the book in the morning when planning I note the unfriendly towns /areas so I can plan my fuel etc so I can get through.
