We're home, too.

Post by Greynomad »

After a fantastic two-and-a-half years on the road, originally intended to be just 12 months, we've returned to the sunny (?) climes of Melbourne for summer (?).
We did a couple of laps up & down the East Coast & Eastern Outback, then took off to Tas for 5 weeks. (One wag of a friend asked "Do you intend to walk around Tas?" :? )
Then we waited at home for a surgery appointment, and the day after the Doc cleared me for travel we were OFF again: Port Augusta, turn north, 5 weeks in Darwin (vehicle servicing) then back to Katherine and All Points West.
After 10 months in WA, we headed back across the Nullarbor, turned left again at Port Augusta, Up the Middle to Three-Ways then right to Mt Isa (after two weeks @ Camooweal), meandering to Brisbane for a house-sit, then home in 4 days after Boonah Rally.
We're here until it starts to get cold again (on a regular basis - it's cold today in Melbourne :( ) when we'll Grey Nomad it northwards, stopping a while at a great little RVFT we discovered (No Names, No Pack Drill. PM me if you're interested), before returning as Melbourne warms up again.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Sure sounds like you had a good time Ray, did you have to go home so locals still knew who you were? ;) Good luck with getting warm enjoyable weather in Melbourne
