Lithium

Post by shonky »

Hi, all.

Just a thought-I've been reading John Nash's biography," A Beautiful Mind" and noticed that Lithium is an excellent treatment for manic depression. There was no mention of it's method of application. Any ideas?

Replace the old technology lead acid batteries with lithium batteries and the depression associated with a restricted life style will be removed making life far more enjoyable. For those who would prefer to medicate the problem rather than treat it, I believe it is available in pill form ;)

Don't they use di-lithium crystals in the Enterprise to achieve warp speed?

That would certainly relieve depression brought about by crawling along at/below the speed of light!

Lithium Carbonate (tablets) used to be used for treating bipolar disorder (formerly manic depression), however, I do not know if it is still in use.
