No dump point

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

No dump point

Post by Macca »

Cannot believe a city the size of Ballarat does not have a public dump point. $5 to use the one at Eureka van park.

$5 well spent, some CP's wont let you use their dump point unless you overnight with them.

I picked up a macerator off gumtree. Length of garden hose down the nearest dunny.
Rinse and repeat as required.

You are not going to believe this, but WA must be the only place in the world where there are more dump points than you can shake a stick at.
Seems they have put them at strategic points and you are never that far from one. Heck! De Greys River has two - and only 100m apart.
What I have perfected is the art of using grey water for wash down, as the country ones rarely have rinse spigots. Who sez you can't teach an ol dawg?

Now on top of that, WA is putting in one hour free solar paneled wi-fi. It's early days yet, and they are not the fastest, but it's free and a real asset - in my opinion.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

We did not pay the $5 but found an out of the way park & used the toot there which we have often done in many spots around Oz. After all the same goes down the hole!

I would suggest that any town authorities that do not provide a dump point should be left a message :!: :!: :!:
