My GF has a Fiat 3L and looking for supply of parts offshore.
Have anyone found a good supplier of Fiat parts overseas? Many Merc parts off eBay Germany and UK. Fiamma parts are 1/2 price offshore landed here. Thought Mazda parts were the most expensive parts available now find Fiat is worse. Great vehicle shame about parts prices and service.

Re: Fiat parts
Welcome to the forum Cables. Parts for any motor vehicle as getting beyond a joke lately and I guess it will only get worse with competition dropping off as smaller companies go belly up. Try buying windscreens or tinted laminated glass these days, they all seem to come from O/S and need to buy a few so you get at least one unbroken one.

Hi, all.
I know one conversion company which sources it's Hino and Fuso windscreens from N.Z. at a very good price.

Welcome.
Ebay is a good source - usually sent from UK. Including postage, the cost will usually be much cheaper than buying here.
An Australian supplier of some parts is European Auto Imports in Melbourne and Sydney.
Avoid Fiat Dealers and similar service centres like the plague. Did the 15,000k service at the Fiat agent in Darwin (because I was there) - $640.
30.000k service done by my local qualified mechanic - same procedure, oil change, oil filter change, grease rear axles (Alko chassis) check all the usual fluid levels and stuff. $104 labour, $140 for the Selenia oil (7 litres at $20 per litre), $30 for the oil filter. Total $274.00.

eBay is a great resource for so much and often the first port of call.
When in Thailand in June picked up new cylinder head for 4cyl Toyota diesel Hilux $480. Price in Australia was $1200, NZ was $840. The cyl head was for a single pensioners camper and couldn't afford to fix it at $1200. Was happy to help the guy out. Was lucky had little luggage and didn't have to pay excess baggage.
Getting new Dometic awning vinyl from the US via a friend bringing it back. 1/2 price compared to purchasing here in Aus

Re: Fiat parts
It's a lot cheaper to get stuff from England than it is from the US, unless you can get off the shelf from Amazon, the freight out of the US is ridiculous from most sellers, but not all. Eddie (Wombat) bought a marine water heater from England, cheaper than US to buy, a fraction of the freight cost, here in 3 bays, the same unit on the shelf here was more than double the part plus freight cost from England. I've been waiting a week for 2 diode blocks to arrive from Seven Hills, a 1 1/2 drive from here
resellers here need the same kick in the arse as the US seller, they deserve to loose custom the overseas sellers with their stupid attitudes.
