Honda playing up

Hi, all.

Good neighbour was setting up his Honda genny the other day when a bloke came past and warned him about the dangers of putting it on sand. Seems his had been running rough when it was taken in for it's first service - the mechanic tipped it on end and poured out 2 cupfuls of sand, and pointed out the intake fan underneath. Some of the sand actually glazed parts of the unit, and his warranty immediately expired.
