Ah, but they plan to monitor the Lions RV Park to see if more parking area is required!
How will they know if people drive up, find no available spots, and move on?

Re: Kingston getting tough.
Good point Ray.
I've seen the area with so many in it that I wouldn't stop there because you'd be 3ft away from others on both sides. There are no defined parking places so they park at all sorts of angles too.
Initially it was one huge area right over to the creek but some idiot (in their wisdom) thought it better to confine everyone to a smaller area.
Another issue is that many spend one night there (24hr parking area) and then went to Wyomi store area (72hr) and then back to the Lions area again.
From my info they intend only having the one area & keeping it at 24hr. Big loss to the town?
There are a few houses that will complain about rigs spoiling their beautiful view....

"It was also suggested that council introduce new provisions for the use of the main RV park adjacent to the Lions Park, such as excluding tents and standard, non-camping vehicles."
By the sign there near the Lions Park there should not be any tents at all - unless they have a toilet and tank! Then again, how many tankless caravans stay there with waste water running?
