Will not be back in "our area" at Redcliffe until next month Bruce. Have our home rented so not actually "going home"
Bruce the couple are Wendy & Ash in the big blue bus. Wendy is the one who shaved the head at 40 mile beach last year.

Must be just about time all you wanderers got down South before you get cooked up there in the North.
Tell us how the home renting is going as it's starting to look a bit like we might have to go down that track as well.
Who did you allow in it? Friends, relatives or strangers?
Real estate or self let?
We were trying to avoid it if we could. (got plans for the money!)

Amazing who you meet while out on the roads isn't it? We met a couple in Eucla that are related to friends of ours in Strath..

If you don't have to rent it Bruce don't, we did it for the last eight years with people we knew and strangers, found most of the money you get goes back into repairs.

Bib the Real Estate agent we have is extra particular who she allows to rent her properties & the 3 different tenants have been 1st class. The house & gardens are as good as when we living there. Last tenant was a roofer. He replaced broken tiles after a severe hail storm & repaired others.He had really got on the roof to check the solar panels had not been damaged. He also did a paint job to above the double garage door. They were a family of five & she was OCD as far as cleanliness was concerned. The couple now are a retired nurse & a working nurse, both in their 50. It took us 2 years to decide whether to rent or continue with house sitters but the $s won in the end. Not in the least bit sorry.

Guess who I met yesterday, Derek and Jo from the old CMCA forum and Highway Wanderers. Some may remember the hammering Derek took from the armchair experts on the old CMCA forum regarding the brake failure/run away on a steep down hill section a number of yrs back. Great to finally meet up with them, a lovely couple, been full time on the road for more than 6 yrs now and still loving it.
