Petrol Stations

Post by shonky »

Hi, all.

Anyone know of a mapping website that displays directions and service stations en route? The BIL is looking to do Currimundi - Cunnamulla (return in 48 hours) on his Honda for a club challenge.

Most GPS's have a list of service station/petrol stations and you can simply set as destination.
I reckon CMCA GeoWiKi might also have something similar? Are you a member Bruce?

Hi, all.

BruceS - the GPS option is excellent.
I have Geowiki but haven't used it yet. Been busy.

HI, all.

Jon and Kay - thanks, but the iMac won't accept apps, and Mrs shonky's iPad has the app but at present is on holiday with her in NZ.

you might try petrolspy

But in all consideration, when fuel becomes essential out there he is not going to have too many options
Cunnamulla, Bollon, St George, Moonie. 100k each side of the direct route and its gonna be the same answer.
Its not like all options couldnt' be jotted on the back of his glove :D

It's a good one - as long as people keep updating the prices. That seems to be the thing that most users complain about - but I wonder if they are inputting?

Can also use it to record your own fuel expenses and it works out fuel consumption for you.

HI, all.

Bag maker - The BIL's going to check the Honda's range carefully, and it seems that the only point of interest is whether the Bollon servo is open, easily established by a phone call.
