Cobb Cooker
Looking to get more uses out of the Cobb with different fuels, yesterday I used the metho burner from my Trangia hiking stove. Placed the burner in the fuel basket about three quarters full of fuel lit it and put the griddle plate on top, it cooked 4 snags in less time than it takes either the charcoal or coconut fuel to be ready for use. The Trangia burner was still about a quarter full, next I will try cooking something in the wok. Would only use this method when wanting to cook quickly and when the gas stove is being used for something else. Cheers, Marty
