This list of diesel fuel prices may assist any forum members doing the long drive to get to the other side, or doing the Up & Down bit through the back blocks.
Southern Cross: $1.32; Kalgoorlie $1.31; Norseman $1.39; Balladonia $1.79; Cocklebiddy $1.72;
Mundrabilla $1.49; Nundaroo $1.36; Ceduna $1.28; Kimba $1.31; Port Augusta $1.27;
Broken Hill $1.29; Cobar $1.36; Bourke $1.34; Moree $1.26; Moonie $1.15 [at Moonie Xroads]
Nanango $1.25; Maryborough Qld $1.26.
I forgot to get the ULP prices when I was filling up with diesel.
I could go back over the trip if anybody really needs the ULP prices, but it will cost you many WEIS BARS.
Mr Russell and Selwin are doing alright and enjoying the trip and the enforced stay in Maryborough waiting for the new rooftop Dometic Harrier air-con to arrive and get installed---sometime next week or the week after. My Sister and Bro-in-Law arrive back from the good old USA on Thursday. [They did not see D. A. Pope in "Sydney" while they were in the States]. I sent the Pope a phone message to hurry back to Australia because we miss him.
Only about 1,000km to go to arrive in Dysart for the winter.
Keith.

West to East Diesel prices
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Thankyou for the fuel prices Keith! Wish I had your memory!
Did you do & compare the MPG or litres per hundred with the two vehicles?

Yes mate, I made notes rather than rely on my memory.
Both vehicles were driven at 90 km/hr on cruise control when on the open road.
The Iveco has consumed just over $960.00 so far -- (around 16 to 18 ltrs/100km).
The Sprinter has used $630.00 -- (around 8 ltrs /100km).
Both vehicles have a 3 ltr turbo engine.
The additional fuel for the Iveco Winnebago Leisure Seeker I attribute to the Luton Peak and the all up weight.
Keith.

I was asleep when you rang Keith! Was 230 am! We are still in Canada, heading back to the US in about 2 weeks and flying back to Aus at the end of Sepember. Lying in bed right now waiting for the prpane heater to finish warming us
