I have a Suburban Gas /Elec hot water system.
The gas side hasn't been working for a while as it lights but won't stay lit.
The 240v elec has been converted to a 24V element that run off my excess 12 volt solar power.
Yes it works and with clever planning gets bloody hot.
But I want to get my gas side working again and before anyone directs me through problem solving, I've done it all.
Really looking for a qualified tech person in the Perth area to fix it.
Failing that heading east around June, so anyone else great.
I had a list of people in the Perth area but yes misplaced the list.
So any know contacts appreciated
Gas hot water.

Re: Gas hot water.
I can't help with yours maybe but I had similar problem with mine when I had one.
Turned out to be a combination of rusty type scale & cobwebs in the 'trumpet'.
If you have access to a good 'air gun', give it a damn good blow through before you spend good money.

3: Mandurah RV Centre Repairs, 9581 8688.

There was a company [cant remember the name] in Midvale, he was very helpful and gave advise on what to try when I had trouble with the old Mazda instead of me driving to Perth.-- -saved me a lot of cash and did'nt charge for his advise, but itfixed the problem in a do-it-yourself way.
Keith.

Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
