Footballers in Qld

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Footballers in Qld

Post by Greynomad »

So, a footballer’s wife ‘supporting her husband’ on the Gold Coast decided “My skin needed some love.” and headed off to have a facial.
Meanwhile our son is on the frontline battling the Covid-19 virus in a Melbourne hospital, where people are dying alone because visiting would endanger family members, and they’re lucky if a nurse has time to hold their hand in their final hours.
A fine, even $25,000, is not enough!!
Send the family back to live in lockdown in Melbourne.
See how much ‘love’ her skin needs then!
Grrrr!! 🤬🤬🤬
Regards & God bless,

Really don't believe any of the football codes should be active at the moment, everyone needs to be home & stay home as much as possible until this pandemic is well & truly under control.

Shirley, I think there are two reasons why the footy is on. First is to give the masses something to òccupy their thoughts, instead of the current pandemic. Second, but most important from a financial point of view, is the advertising revenue generated by the TV broadcasting.
Some of our footballers get paid far too much, and the wives etc in tow, turn into entitled individuals.
Some of us with underlying medical conditions just hope that they dont bring anything that might be contagious along with them. I just wish that people would abide by the rules.
Cheers

Listened to the radio while driving today.
It seems that, after the lady attended to the love needs of her skin (and copped a fine for it) Eddie Everywhere lambasted them, saying that (as quoted on the ABC) "Anyone caught flouting the rules should be packed off back to Victoria."
According to the football person being interviewed (don't ask me who, name meant nothing to me) the very next day, the Coach and Assistant Coach of President Eddie's team were caught having a social tennis game.
As the person said, "What did we hear from Eddie? You could hear the crickets chirping." :D

With the sort of money the "wife" would have at her disposal, maybe she could have had an in house facial where adequate safeguards were employed

Not sure how the tennis would go, unless they played an online virtual game  No reason they couldn't do the footy that way, they had a few rounds of the supercars that way  I wonder how they add in the hamstring injuries the field ballet players seem to suffer so often. I doubt they could replicate the rugby league like that though, unless they can slam the player out of his chair into a brick wall each tackle
