It’s a difficult birth accompanied by much pain.
Baby safely delivered, she asks weakly, “Is Dave still waiting outside?”
“I think so.” says the midwife.
“Well,” says the new mother, “tell ‘im if this is what married life is like, the engagement is well and truly orf!”
