Loxton Christmas Wonderland
Hi. Have been busy this week helping to set up Christmas Wonderland. This is the last year it will be there as the display owner now has very poor health and it is nearly impossible to get volunteers to help. It is nice to see but I am really not into this Christmas stuff but I felt sorry for him and as it was his last year I wanted to help him make it a good one. Anyone wanting to get away for a few days with a van and check it out you are very welcome to camp on our fruit block. Cheers John and Faye

Looks good John & Faye, no wonder he needs volunteers to help with displaying it, always makes the kids happy to see Christmas decorations around the areas, many families drive around looking at them, well done.

Re: Loxton Christmas Wonderland
John,
We wish we could.
Unfortunately Joy is unable to climb the five steps into Girt at the moment.
She is also unable to fulfil her normal role as co-pilot. So it would be a long drive to do solo.
Maybe after Christmas sometime…

Re: Loxton Christmas Wonderland
That does look very impressive John. A big well done to all involved. As Shirley says, the kids love them.
There are usually some very impressive displays around here too, but our mayor has stopped the prize this year, so who knows what we will get to see?

Re: Loxton Christmas Wonderland
I can honestly say it is a fantastic display cuz I got a cuddle from Santa last year
Volunteers are always hard to find no matter what for, but they love the benefits of others hard work.

Yes I think Santa will be back again this year. He could be 14 days late though as I suppose he has to isolate when he flies in. Of course as you know the pic. only shows about 1/3 of the total display.
Cheers
