It’s All In The Look

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It’s All In The Look

Post by Greynomad »

Anyone else noticed that Albo’s new specs are very similar to those worn by wartime Labor PM John Curtin?

Maybe he’s trying for the Prime Ministerial Look, hoping it might help get him the job. 🤔

Don't think that there are many people left that could identify him in a line up. Looks like its shaping up to be a campaign based on credibility rather than policy.

And as we all know a politician doesn't start out with much of that.

I read somewhere, just the other day, that our current crop of pollies have as much credibility as a used car salesman.
And the guy running the show has a background in advertising.

Careful, you will have used car sales people claiming deformation and character assassination

I don't think Albo needs to change his look to get the votes, ScoMo seems to be on his campaign team lately. ScoMo didn't win the last election, Labor threw it away, trying to run the same scare campaign he used last time shows he isn't in touch with the voters, climate policy and renewable energy isn't the dirty phrasing it was last election and it's an unknown if Clive Palmer will throw that much money at it again this time.

Poor Pauline, so gets herself so wound up she can't get out what she actually wants to say .... although the birthday one sort of says she needs someone in an ear piece telling her what she said yesterday so she doesn't contradict herself.
I got to have a coffee with Pauline in the courthouse cafe when she was getting dragged through the coals about having dead people signed up as party members. I was at the same court house to watch the trial for my daughter's murder and I'm guessing at one stage we must have both looked beaten by the system so we sort of connected. Face to face, one on one, she was quite interesting to talk to, didn't get tongue tied and the accent wasn't there either.

Scotty From Marketing may have shot himself in the foot with his enthusiastic support of Gladys For Parliament...
She is still under investigation for High Crimes and Misdemeanors in office. :?

The last think the libs need is a dig further back into the promotion of Gladys through the public platform as well as the party .... I seem to remember a huge out cry when Gladys was awarded something like Australian of the yr or similar and people saying she was just doing her job as a public servant should .... then it spun off into a huge sh*tte fight about having to award a public servant for actually doing what they were paid to do .....

Fat old George Chistannsen comes to mind when him and others of his ilk are being paid from the public purse. If he is costing me 8 cents a day, I would rather save up for a year and buy a coffee !
