Rita (SWMBO) has come up with a great idea for getting rid of the mozzie

TOO LATE!!
I’ve already patented the trap technology, and you’ll have to pay me a bazillion dollars to use your own idea.

… and no-brand copies will flood the market as soon as the Chinese factory can tool-up.

( :? I’ve been taking lessons from the Chinese… 8-) )

Ummmm...... I don't think mozzies are attracted to sugar, it's carbon dioxide that attracts them ...... haven't you seen the swarms of them since the carbon dioxide levels have increased? ;)
A new idea you could patent is a mozzie zapper racket mesh that mounts on frame to hang over your face when you doz off in the chair with head back and start snoring. The cloud of carbon dioxide will attract the mozzies, they will land on the zapper mesh and get fried, the noise, smell and ash falling in your mouth will wake you up enough to stop snoring .... for a few minutes, then the cycle repeats ...... might work for the flies as well that just have to attack your eyes when you have something in your hand that you wouldn't enjoy smacking yourself in the face with

I don't think that will work to well Terry, it will need to be plugged into the grid and that's dangerous or work off batteries that need charging ,and that will cause all the carbon /climate change critics to get excited. The other major problem I would have to turn it off every time I pick my nose, I guess I would only forget once.  OUCH !

Yet another bonus feature  A solar panel on the top of the unit that recharges the battery for when you are outside in the sun to keep the flies out of your eyes, then the battery powers the zapper after the sun goes down .... you could add a plug in power socket so it could be recharged from the solar and batteries in the RV 8-)
A fly screen door made of the same stuff would sort out a few of the fly problems and discourage people poking holes in the fly screen mesh to access the door latch lock ;)

Hmm, the next time I'm in South Australia I won't be visiting your house. I have plenty of electronics inside me that keep me going and I don't need any of your extra zaps

Great idea, T1!

I’m going to get our auto electrician to hook our solar panels to our screen door & window screens to zap any mozzie or midge which dares to try to assault our Girt! 😁

Do you get a lot of mozzies or midges while the sun is up? ;)
