Voyager

Been following the voyagers since they were launched back in 1977, they were designed to last 4 years they are still going after 46 years and sending back information from outside our solar system.The linked article describes some of the amazing facts about them, particularly the computer systems they use compared to today. In an article I read about them about 10 years ago, they were predicting the voyagers would lose power by 2019, but they are still operating even though voyager 1 is having problems. Well worth a read if you're into astrophysics or cosmology, just shows how big our solar system really is. Yet in comparison to the galaxy and universe, we are a nano particle and the earth, even smaller.
