Pinjarra WA 24hr Free Camp

Post by weezanickinoff »

24 hr limit and only self contained vehicles. Camps7 lists it as Pinjarra Information Centre but the Info Centre is further in town, the stop is actually at the Railway Station Precinct. There's a Dump Point, water with no hose. Bins, toilets at Railway Station.
See map Ash is pointing at where it is.

Right on the edge of town and all needs

A few years ago we were refulling at the servo just across the railway line at Pinjarra I went in to pay for the fuel and when I came out my wife drew my attention to the fact the the bowser that I had just used was running backwards deducting the amount of fuel and the cost. There had been some sort of short circut at the boom gates that I think may have caused the fault. Any how there was one of those armoured vehicle filling up on the cheap ?

Now there should be more of those across the country........ only make sure they're leaving the fuel in the tank........ just deducting the price!! (ofcourse I knew you didn't mean it was actually taking the fuel back!!!)

Its a nice spot, except for the trains coming through at od hours.
We were there last Fri night, and use the dump point when returning from southern trips

The outlet is by the dump point. It used to have a short length of hose on it for rinse off and a sign saying not for drinking. The hose was gone last week. The grounds are watered by bore water.
We have always tanked up before we leave home anyway.
