Just found this while trawling the net. Looks a little interesting, but obviously the technology has a long way to go in development. The link is for a new type of printable battery technology.

Re: Lithium batteries online
During the 1st test I controlled the current draw to maintain it at 15amps - During this second test I just let it do it's own thing.
I also reconnected the batteries so that Bat2 became Bat1.
AH used, Watts, Bat % and Hrs to 50% are measured by Victron BMV2. Voltages via multimeter.

Re: Lithium batteries online
George I had a constant battle with my previous vehicle which was 24v running and using 12v accessories over about 4 years from when I first bought it.
Initially had a simple 24 to 12v reducer but it struggled to keep up with a stereo and CB.
Then I tried battery equalisers from several well regarded manufacturers which in theory allowed as much 12v to be drained from either battery but in practice they let the smoke out within 12 months.
Eventually when DC to DC chargers came on the scene I fitted a 24 to 12v unit with a third 40ah AGM as the 12v battery and all was a source of joy and it was still going strong after 5 or 6 years when we sold the vehicle. If you use a DC to DC charger in that scenario it is best that there no "ground" return and both positive and negative must be run to each individual 12v accessory.

Re: Lithium batteries online
Peter, I have this 24-12V 20A converter which I find works fine. https://www.pwrtech.com.au/store/conver ... erter-20a/

Re: Lithium batteries online
My 24-12 volt converters on the bus came from ebay and cost $12 each about 8 years ago and bought 10, they have done the job. Also have them on my truck to run the stereo and none have failed, plus have a few spares. I think buying up on stuff years ago when they were really cheap was a big bonus, the active battery balancers cost me less than $20 and bought a box of them. Now the same ones are close to $100 and have noticed a big rise in ebay prices for goods coming from china recently, which may be associated with the current china trade war.

Re: Lithium batteries online
Looking at the 2 test result charts, it looks like you got the 300Ah @ 24v that you paid for so you can't ask for a refund.
The 0.5CA claim would be interesting to see if the 150 amp load for 1 hr still had the battery voltages above 12v under load. That would give you the capability of those batteries to power a 3,000w inverter at full load, or at least how many minutes you could do that before the battery was seriously depleted.
