Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Sure you aren't getting the Trump disease Dottie, anything more than a few bullet points, all in capitals and bold print so you can see them ;)

No. Both of us were fussy.

And worried about the lights pulling the plastic grill out of its clips.

wow... the antidote is working.

I've caught the T1 disease. Yesterday decided to check out the Terios in case I drive it to Taggerty next week.
Topped up the oil and the radiator fluid then decided to check tyre pressures, all a little low. Fuel also needs topping up.

I decided to drive to a servo for fuel and while there add some air to the tyres. Drove out of the garage and 20M down the drive prior to getting out to open the front gates and after doing so noticed that the rear rhs tyre was dead flat. Get the jaack and wheel brace out from beneathe the front seat, 1st time in the 12 years since I purchased the car. Luckily, I had sufficient room between the wheel and garden border.

Julie had an appointment to attend but couldn't get out because I was blocking the driveway so called an Uber to take her there, asking that I pick here up when she was finished and to make sure I had my phone with me.

When I had completed my task I headed for a servo for fuel and air only to find that their air supply was out of order so, without buying fuel, headed for another servo only to find that not only did they not have air, but had also run out of fuel. Off to another servo where their air supply was also out of order. I finally gave up and headed to the suburb wher I would pick up Julie and sat the for 30 minutes waiting for a phone call.

When Julie arrived we headed for another servo, got fuel but not air so headed home to get the compressor out to pump up the tyres.
Then went for a lie down.

George
Certainly sounds like one of my days, you just missed the bit where you ran out of fuel before you finally found a servo with fuel

Good morning everyone. Beautiful sunny morning here. I hope it stays like that for a week or so.
The little car looks good Jon/ Lucas. Our soon to be 18yo gkid wants me to put a turbo on his buzz box. I told him to get a better buzz box.
We have just returned from the morning walk. It's amazing how fast you can go if you don't need to stop and wait for the dog to sniff everything.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Looks good Jon, worth taking the time to make it look good and harder to steel. I think the big round lights still give a better light spread than the lightbars, but that might just be me ....

They must have different rules in Qld, no turbocharged cars until a full black licence. All performance modifications have to be engineered, anything to block young ones modifying their cars and then wrapping themselves around a pole or a tree or something ......

What he needs is an MG4 EV, the launch off the mark is better than any turbo on a buzz-box .... but maybe not the XPower though ..... but a test drive in one is definitely something to put on the bucket list ..... put the 18yr old in the passenger seat, so he has a bench mark for performance off the showroom floor ;) Those things are road legal track day machines, just need a tyre upgrade ...... De-badged and the stupid calliper covers removed, a real sleeper and unlikely to be cop bait
