Sorry Ray ... thought Dee would have dropped by before this.
Last I heard they are house sitting somewhere up in the highlands on the mid-north coast of NSW.

Think they are still on the farm. She usually drops me a line so will ask.

Ha ha...you missed me! So, we are still hunkered down in Kungala...and today, after five weeks, is the first day with no rain! So Greg has been under my rival, Patty ...the Patrol, to find the leak in the autotrans, which he's just done,....the mechanic didn't tighten stuff up! Sheesh!

We have also said a cheery farewell to our recent visitors, they stayed two weeks, during which time we ....no, never mind,....maybe I'll do a separate mail on that...but the moment they left the sun came out! Literally!

Dot, girlfriend, you shall get another paella when next we see you! I really like big ones....cooking them I mean, so maybe we can have a gathering! It'll be a while yet!

This weekend I head to Sydney, have an appointment with the independent specialist re the hand....have to see someone interstate to make sure he doesn't know the surgeon that bungled my first op! Wow, Dot, if it hadn't been for that bungle we wouldn't have met....

We don't leave here until 10 August, although I'm going to Phuket with my daughter for two weeks at the end of July for a dental holiday!

Doubt anyone is daft enough to be in this area but if you are give us a hoy.

Cheers
Dee

Hmmm, Dee,
You're still a fair step from Brisbane...
If you're planning to head this way before 15 July, whistle!
We'd love to try your paella, if Dot recommends it. You & Joy could swap recipes...
Sure she'd like to try her hand at paella.
We're heading north after that, with a stop-off at Theodore, then south-ish toward Broken Hill.
Hope we cross paths sometime.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Yep, it arrived yesterday. Looks really good, 1.8 litres. Nice size and only 780watts. Just have to both learn how to use all the functions. Will keep all informed. Oh by the way it has a lithium battery in it so its in good company.

The kettle I ordered from another place after 14 days it is not here. It is laughable as it only has to come 88 metres. Pressed pay button before I realised where they were.

Bugger!
Not going Birdsville way this time... straight from Bris to Perth via St George, Bourke, Broken Hill & Port Augusta
(Had some big maintenance expenses on both m/h & self, so fuel costs have to be minimised to keep CU Manager happy.)
By late September we'll probably be heading back across the Nullarbor. Depends on peak blooming season for the Nullarbor wildflowers... :D
We'll have to catch up on another lap. Mouth is still watering for paella, if Dot's recommendation can be trusted (and I think it can). :P
