Were your engine is situated Jon and mine is different . Yours is inside with you I have a flat floor so its all under .
I does normally have side covers as well but I removed them for this trip . Otherwise you cant even see the sides of the engine .
I/we will know more when its dry enough .

Hey Bernie,
If you want some inspiration, have a squiz at this...
Spotted on the Murray near Loxton a year ago.
It's not a proper houseboat, nor a proper motorhome. It's somewhere in-between.
You couldn't call it a motor-boat, that's already taken.
So it must be a 'House-Bus'!!

I wonder how you drive the bus on/off? Love the idea, kinda think I'm all projected up at the moment though

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Looks neat Ray can I have one ?
Strangest thing happened today...........the sun came out woopdedoo...
Today I renewed the washers under that banjo fitting (Jon knows what I mean) so no leaks there .
I also renewed all the connect fitting on the fuel line .
Started the bus up and went under to look for leaks found none . .....BUT as I have a section of the fuel line that is clear enough to see the fuel I could see bubbles going to the lift pump ..........First bugga for the day except when I banged my head ...for the third time....you think I would learn .
so tomorrow I'm going back to town to get more fuel line and I will replace from the tank to the engine .
The other thought I have had (magic moment).
Jon I know you had that problem with your pick up pipe being to short one end ...I was thinking maybe I have a pin hole in my pick up pipe above the fuel...and that's where I'm getting the air bubbles from...you can jump in as well Terry you may have some thoughts as to my problem ?
Bernie .
Might have an early beer o'clock .

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Already shared my idea and ya thought it was too hard
Air leaks in diesel pick up lines is an all too common problem and lead to the idea of self bleeding fuel systems to get around the problem.
