Panel reading MPPT reg.

Post by Kelvin12 »

G'Day All,

I have a Morning Star MPPT 60 regulator. Normally on the panel it reads, "absorb"or "float" but from time to time it reads, "MPPT" in the same location on the panel. I can't find a reference in the Morning Star literature or manuals. Anyone have an idea. It doesn't seem to bother the regulator and doesn't read as a fault code.

Just in case someone else wants this info. Reply back from Morning Star US. MPPT reading shows up when its in full charging mode, then swaps over to absorb and float later. Not an alarm or a problem just the process the regulator goes through.
